IT is changing at an ever increasing rate. Doing things the same way is no longer an acceptable answer in a time of global political and financial uncertainty. Next Gen IT is about providing a pathway through this maze, and looking at how you can translate emerging technologies into business transformation.  Ian is now Head of Infrastructure and Cloud for News International who are the largest newspaper group in the UK and form part of the News Corporation group.
Ian has a first class honours degree and is currently studying towards a doctorate and has spoken at conferences such as IEEE events and has been involved with IETF working groups, along with being a contributor to the Linux kernel and other open source projects.
